Join The Conrail Historical Society for our Fourth Quarter Conrail Day at the historic Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum!
The CRHS invites our members to join us for Conrail Day on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the historic Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum, located in Baltimore, MD, coinciding with The CRHS and B&O Museum’s joint restoration of Conrail SW7 #8905. The event starts at 10:00 AM and runs until 4:00 PM. Attending CRHS members enjoy fun, fellowship, and railfanning at the museum.
This historic B&O shop complex and station were built in the 1850s. These buildings now host the world-class Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum, a Smithsonian-affiliated organization with over 100 pieces of rolling stock dating back to the Civil War era.
Stay tuned for additional information on this event, as we are trying to plan some more special events throughout the day!
The CRHS 4th Quarter Membership meeting will take place right after lunch. Museum attendance and food (lunch) are both free to CRHS members. While this is a MEMBERS ONLY EVENT, the museum will also be open to the public if friends and family wish to join you for the day. Donations are appreciated, as they help us to continue organizing this great event each year!
If you enjoy this type of event and wish to join The CRHS, you may do so by clicking here. Annual memberships start at just $25 each!
Any questions about this event can be directed to admin@thecrhs.org. We look forward to seeing you there.
