Join The Conrail Historical Society for our new First Quarter Rail-B-Q at historic Lewistown Junction Station!
The CRHS invites our members to join us for a Rail-B-Q on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the historic Lewistown Junction Station, located in Lewistown, PA. The event starts at 10:00 AM and runs until 5:00 PM. Attending CRHS members enjoy fun, fellowship, and railfanning at the station, with tracks served by Norfolk Southern, Amtrak and the Juniata Valley Railroad.
This historic station, built in 1849, is the oldest surviving Pennsylvania Railroad structure. It is owned and maintained by the Pennsylvania Railroad Technical & Historical Society, who have graciously invited the CRHS to host our event here.
The CRHS 1st Quarter Membership meeting will take place right after lunch, which is our typical burgers and dogs fare. This is a MEMBERS ONLY EVENT. Attendance and food are both free to CRHS and PRRT&HS members. Donations are appreciated, as they help us to continue organizing this great event each year!
If you enjoy this type of event and wish to join The CRHS, you may do so by clicking here. Annual memberships start at just $25 each!
