What IS Twitter
For a good introduction, read up on it in Wikipedia's article. The short of it is that twitter is what's called a "micro-blogging" tool, allowing it's users to post short messages for others to read. Users can "follow" other users, and can be automatically be notified of the posts of the users they're following.

Twitter will let the CRHS better communicate with its members and friends by allowing us to post timely news updates about all things Conrail and The CRHS.
