HO Scale Conrail Caboose Decals Available!
Fellow HO Conrail Modelers,

I'm very pleased to say that my HO scale decals for Conrail cabooses are now available. The sheet has enough data to do up to 4 cars. Every caboose class is included, with the easily modeled classes being included twice. This is probably the most accurate caboose decal set ever produced.

For more information:

The guys that were at the January membership meeting got to preview this art proof and were all impressed. Well, now you can buy it.

Thanks and Best Regards,
John

There's an N3A decal on here? Really? So now I can paint my Dunmores?

Yup Steve, Since the N3/N3a are "easily modeled" either with the JJL Models kit or Overland Import, there's two of each one here. So in theory, if you had two N3 and two N3a, you could do all four with one set.

Regards,
John

Yes, I have two JJL Dunmore cabs I have been sitting on for quite some time. Joe is working on the EL bay window cab for his next kit. Folks will be able to do an accurate model of the 21165. Does this set do the N8D too? Did you do a tiny decal to represent the former reporting marks? And lastly, it doesn't look like it from the scan of the set but it might just be hard to tell, are you doing the "CONRAIL" stencil for the PC cabs that stayed green for a short period? If not, is that something you would consider in the future?

Very happy.

Thanks,
Steve

Steve,

EVERY CLASS EVER!!! So, yes it has an N8D. There were only a few minor subclasses that I didn't do. (such as the N5P, which was only 4 cars. Ex-PRSL [PRR] N5, given the "P" designation by Conrail since they were ex-PRSL) One of the more obscure, but easily modeled classes is the N5H, x-Southern bay-windows, which are actually done in resin by Wright Trak. The flipside of my instructions list every class and the best available model for doing it.

I do include the former reporting marks.

This doesn't have the stenciled "Conrail" for the PC cabooses, but I will probably include on the "Patches" set I'm doing which would primarily be for locomotives.

Regards,
John

My set arrived today (bought it from you off evilBay). They look great. Now, to get the Dunmore's out, built and painted...

John - When do you think the scale test car decals will be done?
